Description
The HI3834 is a chemical test kit that uses the phenanthroline method to measure total iron in the medium range. The HI3834 is supplied complete with all of the reagents and equipment necessary to perform approximately 50 tests It uses the phenanthroline method: ferric ions (Fe³⁺) are first reduced to ferrous ions (Fe²⁺), which then react with phenanthroline to form an orange-colored complex. The intensity of the color is compared to a color cube or scale to determine the iron level Hanna HI3834 Iron (Fe²+ & Fe³+) Chemical Test Kit
