Specific Gravity of Soil By Pycnometer Method
The set includes a high-quality pycnometer with a conical mold and tamper. The pycnometer has a 1qt (0.95L) capacity and is made of threaded glass that ensures precise volume measurement. The conical mold is designed with an inner diameter of 40mm at the top and 90mm at the bottom, making it suitable for use with different types of fine aggregates. The mold height is 75mm, allowing for easy sample loading and removal after testing. The 340g tamper has a 25mm diameter face that makes it easy to tamp down the fine aggregate.
The pycnometer has a rubber-gasketed brass top with a tapered 1/8in (10mm) hole at the top.
