Description
High temperature curved fire bricks, commonly known as arch bricks, wedge bricks, or curved refractories, are specially shaped firebricks designed for constructing seamless arches, domes, curved walls, and cylindrical linings in furnaces, kilns, and ovens. These high ensure structural stability, even heat distribution, and superior longevity in extreme environments by eliminating gaps and weak joints that occur when using straight bricks.
Alumina Content (Al₂O₃): 42% – 55%
- Maximum Service Temperature: 1350–1450°C (2460–2640°F)
- Cold Crushing Strength: ≥ 30–40 MPa
- Apparent Porosity: ≤ 22–24%
- Bulk Density: 2.1–2.3 g/cm³
- Excellent thermal shock resistance
- Low iron content – safe for food-grade ovens (pizza/tandoor)
