Description
The HI715 single-parameter photometer that provides a simple, accurate, and cost-effective way to measure ammonia levels in freshwater samples. This Hanna HI715 Ammonia Medium Range Checker HC outperforms traditional chemical test kits with digital precision and direct ppm results HI715 Medium Range Ammonia Colorimeter Checker
How the Hanna HI715 Works
Operators add reagents to the sample. The reagents react with ammonia and create a yellow color. The deeper the yellow, the higher the ammonia level. The HI715 measures the color intensity with light and converts it to a precise reading in ppm ammonia-nitrogen (NH₃-N). For ammonia (NH₃) values, multiply the result by 1.214.
This device follows the Nessler Method, an established standard for ammonia testing.
