Dual Power Source
The meter operates on a built-in lithium-ion battery and will automatically switch to AA alkaline batteries for at least 200 hours of testing.

Quick-Calibration
Quick Calibration provides a speedy, single point calibration for pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen. Standard calibration options are also available.
Unlike traditional polarographic DO sensors, the HI98494 uses innovative optical dissolved oxygen (opdo®) technology with a replaceable smart cap – eliminating the need for electrolytes, membranes, or frequent warm-up times. This results in faster, more stable readings with minimal maintenance.
